Scribble Dabble Scrabble

I’ve been being bad. I haven’t been drawing everyday, but mostly because I haven’t been feeling the greatest or was severely lacking in motivation. But, I’ve been feeling better and been doodling some.

This is “Avi” an avatar for Surviving Minecraftia (you’ll see him on those occasions when I need to make an announcement, or, we’ve come to the end of something (like a chapter, or whatever). Avi is likely going to go through some changes in the near future.

I would like to state for the record, this file’s name is mr_mittens. I dunno why, but I liked it. Anyway, this is supposed to be me ironing out [MC]s design. He’s wearing a hoodie, but the hood is conveniently hidden behind a pack. Hmmm!

Working on [MC]s face again. Trying to make sure I can draw it with appropriate depth. But, I need to work on colouring before I can do that (depth = colour?) Ah well. And, yes, he has ears! Somewhere…

Just some miscellaneous doodles related to SM. Trying to figure things out more than anything. I had the idea that he’d wear a mask made from a skull, received from [person] after he gets to [place], so he doesn’t get himself eviscerated by an enderman. I’m not sure if I’m going to do that, but it’s an idea on how to handle that particular situation… because pumpkin helmets are stupid, okay?!

Will be no more. I’ve been finding myself simply plugging in my tablet to get it done and nothing more. I don’t want to do that. So, instead, I’m going to push myself to draw everyday, and not necessarily post something everyday.

When I got my tablet, it was primarily because I don’t have the space to spread out and draw on paper, and with my scanner being as piss poor as it is, not having to deal with losing quality because of that.

So, I’ll still be posting stuff I’ve been doing, but I won’t be doing it everyday, nor will I be sticking with a self-imposed theme. I don’t see that helping much, either.

I’m feeling kinda crummy today. This was put together very short notice. Done in SketchBook copic edition. Bones of the hand.

Arm bones. The humerus, radius, and ulna. They’re not really in proportion, but would be if I had drawn them sideways instead (maybe I’ll do that sometime, along with drawing them put together). Ooh! Maybe I’ll do the ribs tomorrow!

The femur, tibia, and fibula. I hope to work through the entire skeleton one group of bones at a time (and, in that case, I’m aware I missed some bones in the leg). Bones are neat.

So, remember when I said that anatomy was a very weak point of mine? Yeah.

Though, it’s nice to realize that it’s a problem and I need to work on it. I’ll keep at it.

I tried to draw a few animals instead of the stock one. Um. So, it’s probably clear that I have some work to do on anatomy. It’s one of my weakest points, and honestly, I’m a bit intimidated by it. Anatomy is hard, but me putting off working on it is only going to make things more difficult for me in the long run. I’ll likely be working on that next instead of anything else. I said that I was going to do a dump today, but it’ll probably have to be some other time instead. I’ll do it… before it gets too massive to post all at once? Maybe I’ll post it elsewhere and link it here instead? I dunno.

My not-so-great attempt at a goat. My computer has gone into its phase of not recognizing my tablet’s sensitivity settings, so, I have to restart again. Ah well.

I’m trying to draw animals. I drew a sheep earlier, but I might post that tomorrow in the doodle dump.
